I visited Travessia, the new ‘urban winery’ in New Bedford, with friends on Sunday. Right now, they have only whites (chard, unoaked chard, vidal blanc, and sweet vidal blanc) but plan to have some reds (pinot noir, cab franc, and merlot) in the fall. They use only Massachusetts-grown grapes. I’m thinking there may be some potential here. Has anyone else been?
