  1. Jonathan Edwards Winery had excellent wines with beautiful scenery and informative hosts.
The Maugle Sierra Vineyards and Winery offers a very cozy atmosphere for the tasting room.

  2. Jonathan Edwards Winery had excellent wines, pleasant staff (Ed & Suzie) and a beautiful location.
Maugle Sierra Vineyards and Winery OMG!!! Paul the owner is very knowledgeable and informative. Ambiance is AWESOME, it’s like entering another world!

  3. I had an awesome wine tasting experience at Jonathan Edwards Winery. Ed and Suzin were very personable and knowledgeable throughout the tasting of 7 wines, and it’s a very beautiful location.
At Maugle Sierra Winery and Vineyards I met the winemaker himself Paul Maugle, who initiated the wine tasting, which made the experience all the more memorable. Such an intimate atmosphere, delicately decorated with a lot of ambiance.

  4. I went to 2 new vineyards this weekend: Priam & Gouveia over in the Eastern Trail. Great little spots. I definately want to get back to Gouveia because the place was rocking with music and you can bring your own food and sip on wine all with a fantastic view. Here is a small post about it: http://www.kronickwino.com/2009/09/the-cool-grapes-of-connecticuts-wine-trail/

    Cheers!

  5. I have been to Priam and had a nice experience tasting and enjoyed their wine…nice large glasses too…for the tasting….I will try to get to Gouveia this Fall…I tried last Spring, but I think it was too early in the season…or an odd day that they were closed. Isn’t it GREAT to be able to take a day in New England and just tour the local wineries? Please be mindful to have a designated driver….
