The Liberte Wine Tasting Sunset Sail

On August 23, 2009 we will be sailing aboard the majestic 74′ schooner The Liberte for a sunset cruise and wine tasting. This is sure to be a relaxing evening, sailing Vineyard Sound on a three mast Staysail Schooner carrying over 1,700 square feet of sail spread over six sails. We will depart from Falmouth Harbor (MA) at 6:00p.m. The captain requires our guests to arrive by 5:30 p.m. in order to have everyone on board and ready to set sail at 6:00 p.m. promptly.

Bring your camera, friends, sunscreen and be prepared to enjoy a two hour sail on Vineyard Sound. A great gift for yourself or for friends and family. The cost is $60.00 per person and includes the sail, light appetizers paired perfectly with the wine and a wine tasting. Additional wine, beer, and non alcoholic beverages are also available during the sail, but are not included in the above cost. For reservations of 6 or more guests, the cost is $55.00 per person.

    We had a beautiful night for our sail..although it was postponed one week….it is always one of my favorite times in the year..besides the lighting of the green in Falmouth…(Christmas by the Sea) weekend..and the Mashpee Pops….and of course my birthday!
